Description
Apolipoprotein B100 (apoB) is an important protein synthesized in liver that mediate uptake and clearance of very low density lipoprotein (VLDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) from plasma. Increased levels of VLDL and LDL in plasma correlate with the development of coronary artery diseases and atherosclerosis.
